Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 11 June 2026
Our commitment
Herbalyecoel is committed to making our website and programmes accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and the New Zealand Government Web Accessibility Standard where practicable.
Website accessibility
We have taken the following steps on herbalyecoel.world:
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate headings and landmarks
- Keyboard-navigable menus, accordions, and interactive tabs
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Descriptive alt text on images
- Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
- Form labels and error messages for screen reader compatibility
- Reduced-motion-friendly animations that do not block content
Programme accessibility
Our New Lynn studio has step-free access from street level. Group sessions can be attended online via video call. Guide materials are available in PDF format compatible with screen readers. If you have specific access needs, contact us before enrolling and we will discuss reasonable accommodations.
Known limitations
Embedded third-party maps may not be fully accessible. Some decorative SVG illustrations convey mood rather than essential information. We are working to improve these areas in future updates.
Human Rights Act 1993
We do not discriminate on the basis of disability in the provision of our services. If you believe you have been treated unfairly, you may contact the Human Rights Commission at www.hrc.co.nz.
